Job Description
Lead, mentor, and support the QC team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Define and implement testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software projects.
Review and approve test plans, test cases, and testing deliverables.
Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
Monitor testing progress, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure test coverage.
Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution with development teams.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for test automation and process optimization.
Coach and mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers through regular feedback and knowledge sharing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Prepare testing metrics, quality reports, and release recommendations for stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Software Quality Control
At least 1 year of experience leading or mentoring QC teams.
Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
Proven experience creating and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Postman, Selenium, and other testing tools.
Experience with API testing and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
